Rale Rasic Museum

Welcome to the Rale Rasic Museum, the digitised video museum of the late Rale Rasic OAM - the coach who led Australia to its first-ever FIFA World Cup in 1974. The footage, interviews, and match recordings shared here come from Rasic's personal VHS/DVD collection, purchased at auction and now being carefully restored and digitised for preservation and public access.

Rasic also coached a string of Australian clubs including St George Budapest, APIA, Marconi Stallions, Adelaide City, South Melbourne, and Canberra Cosmos, and remained a mentor and father figure to the players he coached for the rest of his life. In 1989, he was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame, and in 2004 he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for his services to football as a player, coach, and administrator.

Through this museum, we hope to preserve and share that history.
